Sparkling wine from Japan — Kochi, Japan
FUJINORI AWA 2022
YOSAKOI winery / Kochi, Japan

About this wine
From YOSAKOI winery in Kochi Prefecture, FUJINORI AWA 2022 (Rosé Sparkling) is a rosé wine made with grapes grown in Shikoku, with a volume of 750ml and an alcohol content of 9%. This 2022 vintage dry, medium-bodied wine is one of the limited-release Japanese wine options available.
Using Fujinominé table grapes as the raw material, it achieves a refreshing finish through low-temperature fermentation with wild yeast. The gentle flavors derived from the grapes are complemented by a solid acidity, while a light bitterness and astringency tighten the overall profile of this thinly-bodied sparkling wine.
While leveraging the sweet aroma unique to table grapes, it is finished with a lower alcohol content that makes it easy to drink, making it a choice suitable for casual toast occasions.
