From CARVEDOZZI winery in Niigata Prefecture, TSUKIMI DE IPPAI Blanc 2024 is a dry, light-bodied white wine reflecting the terroir of the Chubu region. This wine, with its distinctive label featuring a Hanafuda motif, is perfect for those seeking the definitive character of the 2024 vintage.

In its production, two grape varieties, Kerner and Chardonnay, are handled with different approaches. The Kerner undergoes 2 days of skin contact with 30% whole cluster, while the Chardonnay is destemmed and crushed before pressing. After blending the respective juices, fermentation proceeds in old barrels with native yeasts, followed by 7 months of aging in stainless steel tanks. Notably, sulfur dioxide addition during the winemaking process is kept to 20ppm at bottling.
