Red wine from Japan — Ibaraki, Japan
Overdrive Oak 2021 (Red)
BEESNEES vineyards / Ibaraki, Japan

About this wine
BEESNEES vineyards' "Overdrive Oak 2021 (Red)" is a 2021 vintage, medium-bodied red wine made with 100% Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture grapes. It stands out as a dry Japanese wine that reflects the unique character of the Kanto region's wine-producing areas.
Five grape varieties are used: Syrah, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tannat, and Petit Verdot, giving it a vibrant color. From the glass, aromas of red fruits rise, along with spicy notes like white pepper derived from the Syrah. The palate is soft, with a design that leaves a long finish. The alcohol content is 10.5%.
By gradually increasing the temperature from slightly cooler temperatures, you can enjoy the expansion of aromas and the gradation of flavors in stages. This is a wine to savor slowly, appreciating the changes in aroma from the complex blend as you enjoy each glass.
