Sparkling wine from Japan — Yamanashi, Japan
IMAYO 2019
MAN'S wine / Yamanashi, Japan

About this wine
From Yamanashi Prefecture, IMAYO 2019, a rosé sparkling wine crafted by MAN'S wine (Katsunuma Winery), is a dry sparkling wine from the 2019 vintage, produced by Mr. Takuro Tatsumi, chairman of the "Japan Wine Lovers Association." When you choose to "welcome IMAYO wine to your table," its reliable craftsmanship and background reach your hands.
It is brewed using the Charmat method, with wild grapes native to Japan since ancient times and Koshu grapes, representative of Japan. The 2019 vintage is finished as Brut Nature with no dosage, has an alcohol content of 11%, and a volume of 750ml. It harmonizes the punchy acidity from the wild grapes with the delicate flavor of Koshu grapes, featuring long-lasting, fine, and smooth bubbles from yeast, a vibrant color, and rich fruitiness with freshness.
This wine will grace your table as a bottle that enhances the umami of each ingredient and dashi when paired with light Japanese dishes such as salt-grilled fish, somen noodles with plenty of condiments, and simmered vegetables.
