About this wine
From Lumière, a leading winery in Yamanashi Prefecture, comes KOSHU Sur Lie 2021 (White), a dry, medium-bodied Japanese wine made with Koshu, a specialty grape of the region, at 11% ABV.
This 2021 vintage, which won a Silver medal at the Sakura Awards 2023, is made using Koshu grapes from Yamanashi Prefecture and aged sur lie until the following spring without racking.
It features a harmonious balance of fresh citrus aromas and a pleasant umami from the lees, allowing you to enjoy it with a wide range of dishes by leveraging the characteristics of its unique winemaking method.
