Red wine from Japan — Nagano, Japan
Syrah Tarujuku 2023 (Red)
Vin Vi / Nagano, Japan

About this wine
From Vin Vi, the "Syrah Tarujuku 2023(Red)" is a Japanese wine with 11% alcohol, made entirely from Syrah grapes harvested from their own vineyard in Nanshinshu, Nagano Prefecture. This 2023 vintage is a dry, medium-bodied red wine that directly reflects the individuality of its origin and its maker.
After harvesting the grapes grown in their own Nanshinshu vineyard, they were aged for 8 months in French oak barrels before bottling. It possesses a complexity with black fruit aromas like cassis layered with nuances of clove and herbs, presenting a structure with moderate body, well-balanced acidity, and a smooth texture with subtle tannins.
Upon opening, it may exhibit reductive nuances, but as it interacts with air over time, the aromas and flavors will slowly unfurl. This is a wine best enjoyed slowly, savoring its evolution as you take your time with each glass.
