About this wine

From the micro-winery KAMEMORI brewery, founded by an apple farmer and a grape farmer in Osakamachi, Hanamaki City, Iwate Prefecture, we present a new red wine from the 2025 vintage, made by immediately fermenting early-harvested Steuben grapes from that year to an alcohol content of 11.6%. This Nouveau series, bottling the earliest-harvested black grapes in the region, accurately conveys the record of that year's harvest, created by a small northern winery alongside the changing seasons.

When you hold the 2025 edition bottle, with its elevated 11.6% alcohol content, you receive the very essence of a hands-on approach to winemaking, born directly from the local agricultural practices of Osakamachi. It's a unique expression, shaped by hands that tend to apples and hands that tend to grapes on the same land, at a proximity that large-scale producers cannot replicate. The numbers and the liquid, unique to that year, are quietly presented.

For quiet moments at the year's end or in everyday life, consider this 750ml bottle as a reliable choice to uncork, while understanding the local agricultural life behind this new wine, handcrafted by northern farmers.
