Red wine from Japan — Nagano, Japan
Château AZUMINO Special Reserve 2017 (Red)
AZUMINO winery / Nagano, Japan

About this wine
A flagship red wine from Nagano Prefecture, Château AZUMINO Special Reserve 2017(Red) 750ml, from AZUMINO winery. This wine is a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grown in our own vineyards at an altitude of 700 meters, aged for 14 months in French oak. It adopts the same blend as Bordeaux, France, combining the tannins and power of Cabernet Sauvignon with the mellowness of Merlot, resulting in a dry, full-bodied wine with an alcohol content of 13%.
Within its beautiful ruby color, aromas of ripe fruit and cassis unfold richly, along with nuances of coffee and chocolate from barrel aging, and hints of spice and cedar. You'll experience concentrated fruitiness and firm tannins, with acidity providing a clean finish. The result is a long, complex finish with a solid structure.
As an option for a night of slow red wine enjoyment, why not have this rich, dry wine, which evokes the terroir of Azumino, in your hands?
