Rosé wine from Japan — Hiroshima, Japan
YAMANO KYO wine Rosé 2024 (Rosé)
YAMANO KOU OHTA winery / Hiroshima, Japan

About this wine
The journey of YAMANO KOU OHTA winery, located in the natural park 'Yamano Gorge' in Fukuyama City, Hiroshima Prefecture, as they have explored grape cultivation and winemaking since 2015. This rosé wine is crafted as a record of the single year 2024, from grapes grown in their own vineyards in the mountainous region with its extreme temperature differences.
Using Campbell Early and Marselan, this 750ml bottle is finished as a light-bodied, dry rosé with 11% alcohol. It captures charming fruity aromas of acerola and strawberry. A mellow acidity spreads after the fruity taste, with a body that offers a gentle bitterness in the finish.
As a wine that reflects the region's unique terroir and the winemaker's journey, it appeals to drinkers who value the background of production. Why not pour a glass of this, and quietly enjoy it while contemplating the climate of their own mountain vineyards and their journey so far?
