Sparkling wine from Japan — Okayama, Japan
Unnatural 2024
OKAYAMA wine valley / Okayama, Japan

About this wine
A red, lightly sparkling wine made with Sangiovese, crafted by OKAYAMA wine valley for the 2024 vintage. This 500ml early release cuvée was born from fruit with lighter color that was selected during the process for the main red wines. After a short maceration and light pressing, it was bottled unfiltered and without added sulfites.
The decision to utilize fruit that fell outside the standard selection criteria, along with the winemaker's paradoxical humor in naming it 'Unnatural' while approaching modern winemaking, reveals a sincere approach to craftsmanship in a limited environment.
Enjoy the aroma of berries and rose petals with a hint of cream, balanced by fruitiness and delicate acidity, all in a refreshingly effervescent sip.
