Sparkling wine from Japan — Yamanashi, Japan
HONJŌ Iwai Sparkling Rosé
IWASAKI brewery / Yamanashi, Japan

About this wine
For a bottle to choose on a night you want to celebrate, there's the 750ml HONJŌ Iwai Sparkling Rosé (Rosé Sparkling) from Yamanashi Prefecture's IWASAKI brewery. This dry rosé wine, with 12% alcohol, is crafted from carefully selected, late-ripening Muscat Bailey A grapes from the former Iwai village.
This rosé sparkling wine is a cloudy style, made with malolactic fermentation and secondary fermentation in the bottle. By intentionally leaving the lees, it achieves a pleasant texture and an approachable taste. Ripe aromas of stewed strawberries and red cherries mingle with nuances of rose and toast. The palate is creamy, with rich fruitiness, gentle acidity, and a pleasant astringency.
Moments are created for everyone to open this 750ml bottle of medium-bodied wine at home parties. You can enjoy the rich fruitiness and creamy texture of this rosé wine, crafted by IWASAKI brewery with Muscat Bailey A, just as it is.
