Orange wine from Japan — Kanagawa, Japan
KOHAKU-IRO NO YUME (Orange)
YOKOHAMA winery / Kanagawa, Japan

About this wine
YOKOHAMA winery's "KOHAKU-IRO NO YUME" from Kanagawa Prefecture is an orange wine crafted to commemorate their 5th anniversary. A blend of Steuben harvested in Takahata Town, Yamagata Prefecture, with a small amount of Rosario Rosso, it was expected to be a red wine but turned into an amber-colored wine. The name is inspired by the fact that Takahata Town has been inhabited since the Jomon period, and the amber excavated from the earth is combined with the dreams that ancient people might have had.
