Bianco 2023 (White)

From MIYAGI prefecture, the 2023 vintage white wine Bianco 2023 from FATTOria AL FIORE winery is a dry, medium-bodied wine, known as a fan-favorite flagship series from the winery. This is a cherished bottle that the winemaker has continuously produced since 2017, with the winemaking method being upgraded annually in pursuit of better quality.

Three types of grapes are used for the raw materials: Chardonnay, Steuben, and Delaware, and it is made by combining table grapes and wine grapes. For the 2023 vintage, Chardonnay and Delaware were vinified using the same method as the popular "Neko Series" from TIROL, and barrels that had aged better were selected from multiple barrels for the assemblage. The fruitiness and crisp acidity from the Chardonnay, the rich body from the well-ripened Delaware, and the honey-like aroma and sweetness characteristic of Steuben's Blanc de Noirs style are harmonized. Furthermore, by using some acacia barrels, which tend to bring out floral aromas, the wine expresses a slightly more pronounced oak nuance than usual for Bianco.

Bottled at 11% alcohol with a volume of 750ml, this rich white wine maintains its abundant fruitiness and complexity. It is suitable for experiencing the current state of this evolving flagship wine or for choosing as a food-pairing wine that brings out the best in ingredients.
